About the Role
The Project Manager of Employee Education and Engagement supports the Store Operations team to create effective communication, tools and resources that drive increased product knowledge and improved Selling Behaviors in stores.
This role will interact with cross-functional and cross-channel business partners. This role will create all employee education and training tools across stores in North America with a focus on Product Knowledge and the brand Selling Model. This role partners with the Manager of Store Operations – Education, Training, and Engagement to influence key business partners across all functions and channels and represents the voice of the field in all interactions.
What You'll Do
- Manages store execution of brand product education and engagement tools through effective storytelling, communication, and project plans.
- Manages clear and effective project plans, holds business partners to deadlines and delivers, and problem solves through collaboration.
- Develop and influence product education strategies promoting key product stories to deliver multi-media store training (written, visual, experiential).
- Facilitate product training sessions as needed for major product launches and brand moments –in-person and/or virtual.
- Collaborate with Field and HQ teams to determine opportunities for process improvement and innovative toolsesources that are relevant and resonate with the store associate population.
- Work with labor teams to ensure time invested is effectively planned, scheduled, and utilized to increase associate awareness and skillset.
- Recommend change management strategies to effectively implement any new product initiatives.
- Oversee and execute all store communication associated with product confidence, product launches and any new offerings.
- Analyze and propose solutions to improve customer experience through product knowledge, product expert programs, and all associate trainings.
- Analyze competitors to enable best in class processes.
- Support other retail operations projects or brand specific strategic initiatives as needed.
- Preserves brand image and priorities in store, with customer at the center.
- Represents stores in cross functional, in-person product meetings to ensure storytelling of product strategies are delivered through all store facing resources.
Who You Are
- Proficient in PowerPoint, video editing software (e.g., iMovie, Adobe Premiere) with agility in learning modern technology and platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Outstanding project management skills with high flexibility, adaptable in ambiguous situations, and able to act quickly and decisively.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with all levels leveraging interpersonal style and communication methods to gain acceptance of an idea from business partners, acting as a strong collaborator.
- Sets specific and measurable performance objectives and strives to always meet or exceed the performance standard and holds self-accountable.
- Demonstrates ability to effectively brainstorm and then implement innovative ideas and solutions with the team.
- Location: 2 Folsom HQ Role is based in San Francisco, CA
- Ability to work nights and weekends as the job demands and some travel within North America may be required.

Salary Range: $90,100 - $119,400 USD
Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.
