About the Role
In this role of Director, Technical Program Management (TPM) you are accountable for overseeing and driving our strategic and complex technical programs for the Technical Operations and InfoSec functions. This role also includes being the Infrastructure Product Manager and having detailed understanding and management of Portfolio/Operating budgets. As TPM and Infrastructure Product Manager, you will collaborate with technical SME’s, Project TPM’s, Infrastructure/InfoSec Engineering, Architecture, and senior stakeholders. The ability to filter, prioritize, analyze, and validate potentially complex in depth understanding of infrastructure/InfoSec technology, concepts and procedures is critical.
The ideal candidate will have a deep technical background, extensive program management experience, and a proven ability to lead large-scale, cross-functional initiatives, sustain and optimize infrastructure/InfoSec platforms. This role involves people leadership, strategic planning, executive stakeholder management, and on-going oversight for ensuring the successful delivery of programs that align with our business and technology objectives.

- Strategic Leadership: Lead the strategic planning, execution, and delivery of high-impact technical programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and business priorities. Also provide leadership to guide and influence stakeholders’ decisions, unifying different points of views, articulating options, tradeoffs, and recommendations.
- Executive Stakeholder Management: Engage with executive leadership, providing regular updates on program status, risks, and opportunities. Influence decision-making and strategic direction through effective communication.
- Mentorship and Development: Lead, mentor and develop junior and senior TPMs, fostering a culture of excellence, high-performance, collaboration, and professional growth.
- Program Oversight: Oversee all aspects of program management, including defining scope, setting milestones, managing budgets, and ensuring quality and timely delivery of program outcomes.
- Portfolio Management: Manage the portfolio lifecycle, facilitating infrastructure strategy and planning processes, ensuring portfolio delivery success in a modern Dev Ops/agile operating model. This includes accountability for financial visibility to the Infrastructure and InfoSec leader.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate program risks through proactive planning and issue resolution, ensuring minimal disruption to program timelines and objectives.
- Resource Management: Optimize resource allocation and utilization across multiple projects, ensuring teams have the necessary support and capabilities to achieve program goals.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate collaboration across various departments, including engineering, product management, operations, and marketing, to ensure seamless program execution.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging data and insights to enhance program management practices and deliverables.
- Matrix Management: Maximize team productivity by leveraging the individual strengths of program TPMs, building high-performing teams through influence rather than direct authority.
- Development Practices: Apply good understanding of software development lifecycle and project management/scrum methodology in day-to-day responsibilities including infrastructure as code and infrastructure automation practices.
Who You Are
- Able to filter, prioritize, analyze, and validate potentially complex in depth understanding of concepts and procedures within own subject area and understanding of procedures and concepts in other areas
- Must be able to acquire and retain numerous facts/information to perform quick multi-dimensional decision making.
- Demonstrated capability to think strategically; create both conceptual and detailed plans and execute them tactically.
- Experience in Infrastructure system Engineering across multiple technologies to understand all lifecycles holistically from roadmap, capital/expense portfolio delivery, operating budget to sustain, cost optimization, risk management, etc.
- Advisor in all aspects of PM/scrum process and demonstrates ability to influence and execute processes
- Responsible for supporting program delivery, leveraging a good understanding of tools and processes such as solutioning, estimating, forecasting, capacity management, status reporting, risks/issue management and program plan
- Deep understanding of process and team responsibilities associated with code development and implementations and/or infrastructure designs
- Skilled in matrix management and facilitation

Salary Range: $190,200 - $251,900 USD
Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.
