The program includes classroom education, on-the-job assignments, special
projects and presentations to senior management. Participants from all brands
learn together in a cross-divisional approach to training and development.
Merchandise Planning Analysts and Distribution Planning Analysts keep every
store stocked while maintaining profitable inventory levels; help to determine
the merchandise best suited for each location; and assist Merchandisers in
planning future products and their optimum distribution. Both positions work
closely with, and are part of, a cross-functional team consisting of
Merchandising, Merchandise Planning, Production and Distribution.
